Biographical Profile of Dr. Larry T. Ezell-Ray Sr. Pastor
Dr. Larry Ezell-Ray Sr. called as fifth pastor to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of greater Seattle, where he began his pastoralship in May 2002. He accepted the call to preach October 17, 1993. He was licensed to preach the gospel August 13, 1995 and ordained August 21, 1999 by Senior Pastor Dr. T.C. Sturdivant of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria, Illinois.
Prior to coming to Macedonia, he served under Pastor Ransfer at the Greater Mt. Baker Baptist Church overseeing many ministries for three years until 1998 when Pastor Ezell-Ray was lead by God to organize Church of the Father, Son, Holy
Spirit Baptist Faith Center. In April 2002, Pastor Ezell-Ray Sr. was called by God to merge Church of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit Baptist Faith Center with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

A gifted preacher, teacher and leader, the Macedonia congregants characterize
Dr. Ezell-Ray as energetic, motivational, a great communicator, and a humble
man of God. Under Pastor Ezell-Ray’s leadership, Macedonia has been blessed with ministries that are reaching out to the community. Some of the ministries include; Y4J (Youth 4 Jesus), MNM (Monday Night Ministries – a tutoring program), Women of Faith Ministries, MOJC (Men of Jesus Christ Ministries) Toy Giveaway Ministries, Food Basket Ministries (feeding hundreds of families for the holidays).
The W.E. Davenport Fellowship Hall (next door) has been added on and currently under construction to assist the community with a Clothing Ministry, Feeding Ministry (Every 2nd Saturday is Super Saturday which is under the WOFM outreaching to the less fortunate - feeding soup and sandwhiches) and a Day Ministry to assist with homeless women. There are more ministries that are currently being worked on to branch out in 2012. Several families has united with the Macedonia Baptist Church with willing hearts to assist the Pastor with the Vision God has given him to take Macedonia to the next level. “We are going somewhere.”
He will earned his Doctorate of Theology in 2012. He has been blessed in his professional life by being a 20-year veteran teacher in the Seattle Public Schools and also co-owning a business with his wife, Felica Ezell-Ray of Excellent Results Fashions.
Dr. Ezell-Ray has been blessed in his family life with his lovely wife of 16 years and six children; Sharee, Larry Jr., Chassidy, Rasaun, Jamerah, LE’Ray and four grandchildren; Amari, Sharin, Alijah and LE’Ray.
Dr. Ezell-Ray says, “God doesn’t bless you not to be a blessing to others.”
